We inaugurated the school we have adopted in the Mukuyu area. We covered its renovation, the purchase of equipment and installed a playground!

This school is intended for children aged 3-6 years old and, while it had an initial capacity of 70 children, from the new school year on, it will accommodate more than 100.

• We covered the cost of renovating the playground at a school in the Ndera district that serves over 250 children.
• We distributed 100 pairs of flip-flops to a school in the Rutunga district, Lake Kivu and 100 pairs of soaps to families in the community. The flip flops were purchased from a local shop wanting to support the local economy.

And of course our suitcases did not leave Greece empty! They left full of toys and school supplies that we bought to enrich the classrooms of these schools, as well as T-shirts and underwear that were given to 50 children in the Imbonezabuzima area on the outskirts of the capital. Gifts, school supplies and toys were also given to the children by our travelling companions.
